Our Story
A Small Farm. A Deliberate Choice.
Jiru Mithu Farms sits at Village Vasravi, in the Mangrol taluka of Surat district, Gujarat. The name comes from the Gujarati words for 'cumin' and 'sweet' — small words that carry a world of meaning in a Gujarati kitchen.
We are not a large agricultural operation. We are a family farm — with a family's attention to what we produce and a family's standards for what we are willing to put our name on.
Everything that leaves this farm has passed one question:
"Would we give this to our own family?"
If yes, it gets packed. If no, it doesn't leave the farm. That's the whole policy.
Our Philosophy
We Farm Without Shortcuts.
Indian farming has a long memory. Before fertilisers were invented, before pesticides were manufactured, before plastic mulching became standard — farmers grew extraordinary food using nothing more than sun, water, soil intelligence, and time.
We have not forgotten that memory.
Our decision to farm organically is not a marketing position. It is a return to the way things were done before convenience was confused with progress.
